1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the services of RK Transportation Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the transport, handling, and delivery of consignments by RK Transportation Service across India.
2. Service Description
RK Transportation Service provides road freight (full load and part load), train cargo, and air freight services across India. Services are subject to vehicle availability, route feasibility, and applicable government regulations.
3. Booking and Scheduling
All bookings must be confirmed in advance. Delivery schedules are communicated to consignors prior to dispatch. RK Transportation Service reserves the right to reschedule due to force majeure events, road conditions, or government directives.
4. Liability
RK Transportation Service shall not be liable for loss or damage to consignments caused by acts of God, natural calamities, riots, strikes, government restrictions, or any circumstances beyond our control. Liability is limited to the declared value of goods, subject to the terms of the consignment note.
5. Prohibited Goods
Consignors must not tender for carriage any goods that are illegal under applicable Indian law, hazardous without proper declaration, perishable without prior arrangement, or items that violate any central or state government regulations.
6. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due as per the agreed terms in the contract or consignment note. Delayed payments attract interest as mutually agreed. RK Transportation Service reserves the right to withhold delivery in case of outstanding dues.
7. Claims
Any claims for damage, loss, or shortage must be filed in writing within 7 days of delivery. Claims made after this period may not be entertained. RK Transportation Service will investigate and respond within 15 working days.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Halol, Panchmahal, Gujarat.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when requesting quotes or contacting us, including your name, email address, phone number, company name, and shipment details (origin, destination, cargo type). We also collect technical information such as IP addresses and browser type through our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to: process and fulfill transportation service requests; communicate updates about your consignment; send service-related notifications; improve our services; and comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with: transport partners and agents necessary to fulfill your booking; government authorities when required by law; and our technology service providers under confidentiality agreements.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
5. GPS and Tracking Data
Our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking. Location data is collected for operational purposes and to provide consignment tracking services to our customers. This data is retained for 90 days and then deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at rktransportationservice@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
